Josee Smuck
(Caregiver)
I am a mom, wife, businesswoman, and entrepreneur. I have 3 wonderful children - 2 adult children & 1 teen. While my kids were young, I worked retail and didn’t find it a good fit to raise my family. I decided to quit my job and ever since then, have been running a home-based craft business. I have done a lot of other things along the way, including running a home daycare while my children were young. I started working at a licensed daycare over 2 years ago as a supply teacher and loved being with the kids and seeing them grow. I have experience in working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and have loved every minute of being there.
Kyla Smuck
(Part-Time Helper)
I am the oldest of 3 in my family and have always helped with my younger siblings. I’m now 21 and just graduated from Algonquin's Advertising and Marketing program. Three years ago, I began working at an Indoor Play Centre as a Birthday Party Host. Since then, I have worked in every position at the Centre and worked my way up to Weekend Manager. I’ve been coordinating & programming summer camps for the last 3 summers and have worked as a camp counselor at a sleep-away camp for 3 summers before that.
I love working with kids and am super excited to meet yours and watch them grow and learn!
Both of us are First Aid and CPR (Level C) certified and have vulnerable sector checks available upon request.

I am Josee's husband and the father of our 3 kids. I worked in retail for the majority of my working career and worked up to being a Store Manager at a Big Box store. I retired from the industry a while back and started a seasonal home business. I love every minute of being a dad and raising my children. I really enjoy helping Josee when needed with the daycare kids! Playing with them reminds me of when my kids were young!
Hailey Smuck
I'm in grade 10 at Sacred Heart High School this year. I've helped out with day camps at my church for the past few years as well as in the toddler & preschool rooms for Sunday school. I love playing with kids and often hang out with our daycare kids after school.
